Hire Santa Claus in Fresno

Planning a Christmas party in Fresno? Tell us where Santa is going, when you need him, and what you hope he’ll do while he’s there.

A good Santa visit doesn’t need a complicated script. It does need a sensible entrance, a comfortable place for pictures, and one person who knows what’s supposed to happen. Those few details save a surprising amount of scrambling once the doorbell rings.

For a home party, Santa might read a story, pass out the presents, and stay for family photos. At an office or school, he may spend most of the visit greeting guests as they come through a line. Let us know which kind of day you’re putting together. A rough plan is perfectly fine.

Santa Claus & Company has arranged appearances since 1972. Families, businesses, schools, stores, churches, and community groups in Fresno can send their event information through the form on this page.

A little preparation goes a long way

Put someone in charge of the gifts

Keep packages hidden until Santa is inside. Large name tags help, especially in a dim room, and an adult helper can quietly place the next gift in Santa’s hands.

Make room around the chair

Use a solid chair without wheels. Leave enough open floor for siblings, grandparents, and anyone else who will be called into the picture at the last second.

Keep the arrival out of sight

Choose a door away from the children and have a host meet Santa outside. Nobody wants the first sighting to be Santa unloading a bag beside his car.

Fresno parties come in all sizes

Christmas at home

Small visits often become the stories families remember best. Children can show Santa an ornament, share a cookie, or tell him what they’ve been up to before the camera comes out. If presents are part of the plan, have them ready in one hidden place. Our Santa home visit page has more ideas.

Company parties and store events

Work celebrations range from a quick employee photo hour to a packed family party. Share the schedule if Santa will make an announcement, walk through the room, or remain at a photo set. The company Christmas event page covers larger workplace and customer gatherings.

Schools, churches, and local groups

A long line is easier when a volunteer keeps the next family ready and answers questions away from the chair. Santa can then pay attention to the child in front of him instead of watching the clock. You can also read about charity and nonprofit Santa visits.

Walk through the entrance once

Before the party, stand where Santa will park and follow the route he’ll take. Locked gates, side doors that only open from inside, and a lobby with no host can turn an easy arrival into a phone call from the sidewalk. Send the best entrance along with the name and number of the person meeting him.

At a house, pull the curtains near that entrance and keep the children busy in another room. A hotel, school, or office should have a private corner where Santa can fix his hat and set down his personal things. Even five quiet minutes helps before a busy photo line.

Set up the picture spot before guests arrive

Take one test photo from the place where the photographer will stand. A bright window behind Santa can leave every face in shadow. Move the chair or close the blinds now, not after twenty people have lined up.

Fresno’s December evenings can be chilly, and fog sometimes slows traffic across the valley. If the celebration has a firm start time, leave a little breathing room around Santa’s entrance. For outdoor plans, have a dry indoor option and a place where he can warm up.
